Regular eye exams are helpful for detecting early signs of ocular disease, as many can develop for years without any noticeable symptoms. A routine eye exam will reveal signs or symptoms of a health problem, which we can treat before it becomes serious.

Our Examination Process

Our comprehensive eye exams assess and correct your vision to diagnose ocular diseases. We include a complete vision test to determine your prescription for eyewear, an ocular motility exam to test your eye movements and to evaluate your optical health.

After our exam, you’ll receive our diagnoses and treatment plan to manage your optical health. We will review your eye health status and provide our recommendations.

Most of our exams are completed in about 20-30 minutes.

Our Advanced Technology

Eye Doc Optometry is proud to offer advanced state-of-the-art technology to diagnose, assess and treat your ocular health.

Optomap

This ultra-wide retinal camera takes an HD image of the back of your eye. This exam allows us to see early signs of eye diseases, like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, as well as other health conditions, like stroke, diabetes or others.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

An OCT takes a cross-section image of your retina, which shows us a detailed view of your retina’s thin layers to detect early signs of eye diseases, like glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic eye diseases.

Anterior Segment Camera

An anterior segment camera takes HD photos of the eye’s anterior segment, which includes the cornea, iris, ciliary body, and lens. These images allow us to see several eye diseases, including cataracts, corneal conditions, macular degeneration and pterygium.

Visual Field

A perimetry test or visual field exam assesses your entire field of vision to determine potential vision loss from diseases like glaucoma.

LipiScan

LipiScan provides dynamic Meibomian imaging quickly and accurately, helping us ensure a comfortable experience for our patients.
